There's something special about opening the Bible side by side
For many people, the best way to study is in person: turning the same pages, sharing a cup of tea, and talking freely. With an in-person Bible study from Bible Study BC, a friendly volunteer study partner will meet you at a time and place that's comfortable for you.
Most studies take place in the participant's own home, but we're just as happy to meet at a local library, a community centre or a quiet café. You can study one-on-one, as a couple, with your family, or invite a few friends and neighbours to make it a small group.
In-person studies are available where we have study partners nearby, especially in Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, the Okanagan and Vancouver Island. If there isn't anyone close to you yet, we'll start online and let you know as soon as an in-person option opens up.

Where do in-person studies take place?
Usually in your home, but we can also meet at a library, a community centre or a quiet café, wherever you're comfortable.
Is in-person study available in my town?
In-person studies are arranged wherever a study partner is available nearby. If there isn't one close to you yet, we'll start online and let you know when an in-person option opens up.
Can I invite others?
Yes. Couples, families and small groups of friends are very welcome.
Who will my study partner be?
A friendly volunteer who loves the Bible and has experience leading studies. They're there to read and discuss with you, never to pressure you.
