Bible reading plan: read the whole Bible in a year

One Old Testament and one New Testament reading a day, 25 days a month, so there's always room to catch up. Start any month, track your progress, or print it out.

How the plan works

  • The whole Bible in twelve months. Every chapter from Genesis to Malachi and Matthew to Revelation.
  • Two readings a day. Each day pairs an Old Testament reading with a New Testament reading, so you see how the whole of Scripture fits together. Most days take 15–20 minutes.
  • 25 readings a month. The extra days in each month are for catching up, rest or going deeper. No more falling behind in February!
  • Start any time. Months are numbered, not named, so you can begin today.
  • Track your progress. Tick each day as you read. Your progress is saved in this browser on this device.

Tips for reading well

Pray before you begin and ask God to help you understand. Read slowly; it's not a race. Write down one verse or thought each day that stands out to you. If you miss a day, simply pick up where you left off.

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”Psalm 119:105 (KJV)
