About Bible Study BC
We're a group of ordinary people across British Columbia who love the Bible and want to share it, freely and kindly, with anyone who's interested.
Why we started
Bible Study BC began with a simple observation: many people across our province would love to understand the Bible but don't know where to start, and don't want to be pressured or sold anything. So we made it easy. Fill in a short form, choose in person or online, and a friendly study partner will open the Bible with you.
Our study partners are volunteers. They come from different walks of life: parents, retirees, professionals and students. They share one thing in common: the Bible has changed their lives, and they'd love to help you discover it for yourself.
What we believe about the Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the clearest guide for faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16–17). That's why our studies don't rely on opinions or traditions. We let the Bible explain itself by comparing scripture with scripture. You'll always be encouraged to check everything for yourself, like the Bereans who “searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so” (Acts 17:11).

Free, always
We never charge for studies, materials or the reading plan, and we never ask for donations during a study.
No pressure
You set the pace and the topics. You can pause or stop at any time, no questions asked.
Respect
Every question is welcome and every person is treated with kindness, whatever your background or beliefs.

We open the Bible and let it speak. You'll see every verse for yourself.
Privacy
Your details are used only to arrange your study. We never sell or share them. See our privacy policy.
